史上最高威力彩頭獎3人中，分別開在新北中和、花蓮鎮國街、桃園平鎮。

去(2012)年12月6日開出的18.16億威力彩，有3注中獎，其中桃園開出的頭獎中獎人已現身領獎，是一名在民營企業工作的30多歲已婚婦人，不過，在得知中了6.05億威力彩頭獎時，她第一時間就衝進臥房搖醒正在睡覺的先生，沒想到先生潑她冷水說，「別作夢」，還要她「卡早睏卡有眠」。
台灣彩券公司總經理黃志宜透露，去年年中及年尾各有一次威力彩頭獎連摃32期，一次是在7月30日開出的15.65億威力彩，高雄1注獨得，另一次則是12月6日開出的18.16億威力彩，這次有3注中獎，其中1注開在桃園平鎮市，而且這名中獎人也現身領獎。
黃志宜轉述，這名中獎人年約30至40歲歲，花蓮人，結婚後跟先生住在桃園，並育有二子，她與先生都在民營企業上班，購買彩券已有6年，每周會買1-2次，一次約500元至1000元，大部分是買大樂透、威力彩，而且都是下班途中順路買，並挑選看起來明亮、整潔的店家，自覺這樣財神比較會來敲門。
至於這次中獎，她則花了600元買了6注威力彩，其中3注電選號、3注自選號，結果自選號第一注中了6.05億頭獎，而且自選號是以夫妻手機號碼加上身份證號碼組合成3組號碼，已養牌2年多，這次終於讓她中了頭獎，而且金額達6.05億元。
不過，黃志宜說，這名中獎人在開獎當天晚上11點看電視開獎跑馬燈得知中獎，一開始不相信自己那麼幸運，還上台彩官網對獎，確定中獎後，立刻衝到臥房搖醒在睡夢中的先生，沒想到先生卻潑她冷水，要她別作夢，還用台語回她說「卡早睏，卡有眠」，在她一再表示真的中獎後，先生才起身上網再次對獎確認，才相信太太真的中了6.05億元頭獎。 (接下一頁)
